Quito, Ecuador

I spot this man outside Quito’s presidential palace. I’m immediately struck by his tough-guy look, something right out of a Quentin Tarantino film. He doesn’t mind posing for a portrait, but he doesn't really say much. As I gather from the name tag on his uniform later on, his surname is Vargas.
